Good Monday Morning!
I'll put this week's specifics up later today, but I just wanted to get started early this morning. The first 3 days of school were getting to know each other and our classes, and this week we'll really begin! The pace of these introductory chapters may seem a bit slow, but don't worry; things will pick up very quickly. The first chapter in each of our classes is mostly a review of years past. New material will be coming soon, so get into good study habits now!
For Precalculus:
Monday: We'll continue to go over the diagnostic worksheet. Remember you have homework due tomorrow from your book.
For Algebra II:
Monday: We'll begin section 1.2 Work on homework problems, time permitting
For Algebra (8th grade):
Monday: Turn in homework from Friday. We'll begin section 1.2 Work on homework problems, time permitting.
For Physics:
As of right now, there will be a TEST on Chapter 2 on Thursday, September 3. If we are running behind schedule I will consider pushing it back until Monday September 6.
That's a start; I'll update you all later today.

For Physics:
As I have told my Physics classes in the past, you must READ and REREAD the book as necessary. Physics is applied math, but the concepts will not make any sense if you don't read and understand the text. Please do not fall behind on this.
Monday: Over the weekend you read and re-read Chapter 2 - Kinematics in One Dimension. Today in class we'll begin to work Chapter 2 problems. The specific problems for the week are as follows: #7, 9, 11*, 12*, 15, 19, 21, 25*, 27*, 33, 35, 37, 49, 51*, 53
The * problems are for those who plan to take the AP exam in the springAs of right now, there will be a TEST on Chapter 2 on Thursday, September 3. If we are running behind schedule I will consider pushing it back until Monday September 6.
That's a start; I'll update you all later today.
